Welcome to Donate a Dollar a Week. By subscribing to our micro-donation circle or using our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read these terms carefully before starting your subscription.

1. The Subscription Model

By subscribing, you authorize Donate a Dollar a Week Inc. to charge your credit or debit card a recurring weekly contribution of your chosen amount (minimum $1.00 AUD).

• Charges occur automatically on the same day of each week corresponding to your initial sign-up day.
• 100% of these pooled subscription funds are wired to vetted Australian charities monthly. No admin cuts are taken from the donor pool.

2. Cancellation & Account Modification

You are in full control of your philanthropy. You can pause, modify the weekly amount, or cancel your subscription at any time without penalty or cancellation fees:

• Subscription adjustments can be made instantly through your donor portal profile page.
• If you request cancellation via email at support@donateadollaraweek.org, please allow up to 3 business days for manual processing.

3. Tax Deductibility and Receipts

Donate a Dollar a Week Inc. is registered with the ACNC and endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) Item 1.

• Only total consolidated contributions of $2.00 AUD or more are tax-deductible.
• For administrative efficiency, we compile all weekly payments into a single, consolidated tax invoice sent to your email address at the close of each financial year (June 30).

4. Monthly Balloting and Voting

Each subscriber in good standing is entitled to one vote in our monthly charity funding ballot, regardless of their chosen weekly contribution size (whether $1/week or $10/week). Balloting runs from the 1st to the 14th of each calendar month. Voting is optional but highly encouraged.
